Southern California 76, Utah 59: J.T. Terrell scored 14 points and Dewayne Dedmon had 13 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots as the Trojans ended a 14-game road losing streak by defeating the Utes in Pac-12 play.

Jio Fontan added 13 points and six assists and Byron Wesley also scored 13 for USC (7-10, 2-2 Pac-12), which hadn’t won on the road since defeating UC Riverside on Nov. 30, 2011. The Trojans also ended a 10-game conference road losing skid.

Jarred DuBois scored 18 points, Jason Washburn tallied 13 and Jordan Loveridge added 12 for Utah (8-8, 0-4), which has lost four consecutive contests and five of its last six.

The Trojans led by nine at halftime and extended their lead to 46-33 on Eric Wise’s jumper with 13:50 to play. Utah cut the deficit to 50-42 on a 3-pointer by DuBois with 10:26 remaining before USC ran off seven straight points in a 28-second span to push the lead to 15.

USC finished the first half with a 15-2 run to take a 32-23 halftime lead. Terrell had 10 first-half points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wise also scored in double figures for USC with 11 points. … Utah was 4-of-15 from 3-point range and is shooting just 29 percent (18-of-62) from behind the arc in Pac-12 play. The Utes shot 37.5 percent overall. … The Trojans committed just nine turnovers two days after committing a season-high 23 in a loss to Colorado.
