Kenny Gabriel had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Auburn avoided finishing last in the SEC West with a 60-51 road victory over LSU on Saturday.
Earnest Ross also scored 16 points for Auburn (11-19, 4-12 SEC West Division), which rallied from a 15-point deficit to earn the West's No. 5 seed in the SEC tournament. Auburn will play the East's No. 4 seed on Thursday.
Auburn, which rallied from a 20-point deficit in Wednesday’s victory over Ole Miss, outscored LSU 35-11 over the final 14 minutes.
Storm Warren had 14 points for LSU (11-20, 3-13), which went 10 minutes without a field goal in the second half en route to its 13th loss in 14 games.
LSU, the West's No. 6 seed, will face the East's No. 3 seed on Thursday.
