Wisconsin used a strong second half to move above .500 in Big Ten play with a 66-50 victory over visiting Michigan on Wednesday.

The Badgers (12-3, 2-1 Big Ten) trailed by two at halftime, but outscored the Wolverines 40-22 in the second half and pulled away in the final eight minutes.

A 9-1 run, capped by a pair of Jon Leuer free throws with 13:15 to go, put the Badgers ahead 42-33. Michigan would get within four points at 48-44 before Wisconsin used a 9-2 run to build a 57-46 advantage on Brett Valentyn’s 3-pointer from the left corner with 3:12 left.

Jordan Taylor led Wisconsin with 20 points, while Leuer added 17 points and Keaton Nankivil scored 13. The trio finished a combined 8 of 13 from 3-point range.

Zack Novak scored 15 points for the Wolverines (11-4, 1-2), including 5 of 7 from 3-point range.

The Badgers play at No. 19 Michigan State on Tuesday, while the Wolverines play host to No. 3 Kansas on Sunday.
