Brian Duensing allowed one run in seven innings while Justin Morneau had two hits, including a two-run single, in his return the lineup as the Minnesota Twins cruised to a 10-3 win over the visiting Cleveland Indians on Saturday.
Jason Kubel had three RBIs for Minnesota (8-12), which scored more than five runs in a game for the first time this season. Danny Valencia added a two-run homer in the seventh.
Fausto Carmona (1-3) allowed six runs in five innings for the Indians (13-7). Grady Sizemore hit a two-run homer in the eighth for Cleveland.
Duensing (2-0) gave up a run in the fourth on Carlos Santana's RBI fielder's choice but kept Cleveland off the board the rest of the way. The lefthander allowed five hits, walked one and struck out three.
Morneau, who missed five games with the flu, delivered in the fifth after Kubel was intentionally walked to load the bases by lining a single to center field.
Kubel's two-run double capped a third-inning rally and raised his career average against Carmona to .368 (14-for-38) with 11 RBIs.
Jason Repko's infield hit in the third scored Minnesota's first run.
