Matt Ryan threw two touchdowns and Michael Turner ran for 131 yards and a score as the Atlanta Falcons won their fourth straight game with a 34-17 victory over the host St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
Matt Bryant kicked four field goals for Atlanta, which ended a five-game losing streak in St. Louis.
Ryan finished 26 of 39 for 253 yards for the Falcons (8-2), who were coming off an impressive come-from-behind victory over Baltimore.
Bradford was 27 of 42 for 233 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for St. Louis (4-6), which had its four-game home winning streak snapped.
After Bryant’s 24-yard field goal gave the Falcons a 26-17 lead, rookie Sam Bradford marched the Rams down the field. Bradford made several nice throws during the drive, but his lone mistake was a shovel pass gone awry that William Moore picked off at the 2-yard line with 3:24 left.
The teams traded punts before Turner ripped off a 39-yard touchdown run that sealed the win.
St. Louis took a 17-16 lead on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Bradford to Brandon Gibson early in the third. But Ryan responded with a 2-yard touchdown toss to backup tight end Justin Peelle that gave the Falcons a 23-17 lead with 2:01 left in the quarter.
