Al-Amir Dawes scored 19 points as host Clemson rolled to a 75-48 victory against Pitt on Saturday night in an Atlantic Coast Conference game.

The victory continued the recent domination by Clemson (11-8, 3-5 ACC) in the series; the Tigers have won nine in a row against the Panthers dating to 2014.

Dawes made 6-of-9 shots from the floor, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range in posting his 10th double-figure game of the season.

P.J. Hall added 16 points for Clemson, which snapped a three-game losing streak. He made 4 of 5 from the floor en route to his 18th consecutive game in double figures.

Hall scored 10 points in the first half and Clemson shot 48 percent from the floor in building a big early lead. The Tigers also got eight first-half points apiece from Chase Hunter -- who was making his first start of the season -- and David Collins.

Hunter finished with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting while Collins added 10 points.

Clemson led 38-27 at halftime, but Pitt (7-12, 2-6) showed signs of life with a 5-0 spurt at the outset of the second half to cut the Tigers' lead to six. Clemson responded by scoring 18 of the next 24 points to pull ahead by 18 and it was all downhill for the Panthers from there.

Clemson capitalized on 20 Pitt turnovers and 33.3 percent shooting by the Panthers, and led by as many as 29 points in the final minutes of the game. Pitt, the worst-shooting ACC team from 3-point range, made 7-of-23 (30.4 percent) from beyond the arc.

The Tigers, meanwhile, made 12-of-25 from deep (48 percent), including 7-of-12 in the second half.

John Hugley paced Pitt with 15 points and eight rebounds but struggled against repeated double teams by the Clemson defense, making only 4-of-12 shots from the floor.

Femi Odukale and Jamarius Burton each added 10 points for Pitt. Burton fouled out with 7:26 remaining, the first time for him this season.
