Oregon State (8-2) surpassed the 90-point mark for the second straight game. The Beavers defeated Illinois-Chicago, 95-53 on Tuesday, and have won all six games this season in which they have scored 80 points.
Oregon State's lead reached 90-54 with five minutes remaining. Angus Brandt, who hit 9-of-11 from the field, recorded a career high with 21 points. Roberto Nelson added 20 points and has scored in double figures in five straight games.
Prince Okoroh and Brandon Ford led Howard (3-8) with 13 points apiece. Glen Andrews, a transfer from Tulsa, scored 11 points in his first game with the Bison.
The Beavers led 15-12 midway through the first half before taking control. Oregon State gradually built the margin and led 49-30 at halftime, while shooting 52.9 percent from the field.
Oregon State has won four of five. Howard has dropped five of six.
