Delvon Johnson's dunk with six seconds left allowed Arkansas to escape with a 57-55 victory at Auburn on Saturday afternoon.
Down by as many as 13 points early in the second half, the Tigers came back with a late 7-0 run, tying it at 55-55 on Kenny Gabriel’s layup with 29 seconds to go.
Johnson put the Razorbacks (18-10, 7-7 SEC) back in front before Josh Wallace missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer at the other end for Auburn (9-19, 2-12).
Arkansas committed 17 turnovers but helped make up for it with 13 offensive rebounds and a defensive effort that held Auburn to 19-of-53 shooting (35.8 percent) from the floor. The Tigers hit just 3 of 12 3-point attempts.
Rotnei Clarke paced Arkansas with 17 points. Gabriel led a balanced effort for Auburn with 13 points.
