Indians 9, Twins 4: Asdrubal Cabrera (4-for-5) and Michael Brantley (3-for-5) each homered and knocked in three runs as host Cleveland extended its winning streak to a season-high three.
Brantley and Cabrera were both a triple shy of the cycle, David Murphy collected three hits and an RBI and Mike Aviles added two doubles and a single for the Indians. Justin Masterson (2-1) allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks with seven strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings to win his second straight start.

Cabrera drove a 1-0 pitch from Correia into the right-field seats to lead off the second and Brantley made it 4-0 on a two-run blast to right with none out in the fifth. Minnesota closed the gap to 4-2 in the sixth when an infield hit by Colabello brought two runners home with two outs.
Brantley’s fielder’s choice pushed the lead to 5-2 before Santana’s double to right field and Eduardo Escobar’s ground out pulled the Twins within 5-4 in the seventh. The Indians responded with three runs in their half of the seventh on Cabrera’s RBI double, a run-scoring single by Ryan Raburn and Michael Bourn’s sacrifice fly.
