Boise State 69, Utah 67: Derrick Marks scored six of his team-high 17 points in the final 2:34 as the host Broncos won the battle of unbeaten teams.

Marks, who spent more than 10 minutes on the bench in the second half saddled with four fouls, hit a short jumper in the lane with 55 seconds to go to give Boise State (7-0) the lead for good. Anthony Drmic added 14 points for the nation's highest-scoring team, which was held 28 points below its season average.

Jordan Loveridge scored all but three of his game-high 19 points in the second half for Utah, but missed an open 3-pointer in the final seconds. Delon Wright had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Utes (6-1).

Utah's Princeton Onwas, who had a double-double last game, was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul for elbowing Jeff Elorriaga late in the first half. Boise State finished the half on a 9-2 run to take a 32-25 lead into the break.

After scoring just three points in the first half, Loveridge caught fire in the second and gave the Utes 66-65 lead with 1:52 to play. But Marks made up for lost time by burying two straight jumpers and then knocked down a pair of free throws to extend the lead to 69-66.

GAME NOTEBOOK: After Tuesday's play, Pac-12 teams are 4-2 against Mountain West squads. ...Utah was just 2-for-14 from the 3-point line in the first half. ... Ryan Watkins had eight points and 10 rebounds for Boise State.
