Bobcats 119, Wizards 114: Gerald Henderson scored 27 points and Kemba Walker came up big down the stretch as Charlotte rallied for its second straight home win.
Ben Gordon scored 19 points off the bench and Walker added 18 and seven assists for the Bobcats, who won for just the second time in 14 games. Josh McRoberts contributed 17 points and seven rebounds.
John Wall scored 25 points before fouling out and Nene added 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Washington, which failed to match a season-best four consecutive wins. The Wizards have lost four straight on the road.
The Wizards led 111-106 after Wall fed Trevor Booker for an alley-oop with 3:14 left, but Walker scored six points during an 12-0 run as Charlotte regained control.
Gordon hit a 3-pointer from the left wing to tie it at 111, and Walker banked in a shot on the next trip to give the Bobcats the lead. After drawing an offensive foul on Wall, Walker scored again and Henderson drained a 3-pointer to push it to 118-111 with less than a minute to play.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bobcats claimed three of four in the season series. … Wizards G Garrett Temple matched his career-high with 17 points. His previous high came while playing for the Bobcats in 2011. … Wizards SG Bradley Beal was limited to five points in 20 minutes because of foul trouble.
