Kings 121, Bulls 79: Tyreke Evans scored 26 points on 11-of-13 shooting and Sacramento recorded the fourth-largest win in franchise history with a rout of visiting Chicago.
Isaiah Thomas had 22 points and Patrick Patterson added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Kings, who shot 54.2 percent and snapped a five-game losing streak against the Bulls. Sacramento led by as many as 44 points in the third quarter.
Chicago lost its sixth straight road game and shot 38.6 percent while missing 19 of its 21 shots from 3-point range. Carlos Boozer scored 21 points and Nate Robinson added 19 for the Bulls, who trailed 34-20 after the first quarter.
Patterson made his first start with the Kings in place of star center DeMarcus Cousins, who missed the game with a left quad contusion. Chuck Hayes and Toney Douglas had 10 points apiece for Sacramento, which committed one turnover in the first half.
The Bulls lost for the sixth time in their last nine games and fell 2 1/2 games behind fourth-place Brooklyn in the Eastern Conference. Chicago played without Derrick Rose (knee), Taj Gibson (knee) and Kirk Hinrich (foot) and failed to reach the 100-point mark for the ninth straight game.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Kings have scored 100 or more points in 14 of their last 16 games. … The Kings' 34 first-quarter points are the most allowed by the Bulls in the opening period this season. ... Sacramento's 42-point win marked the largest margin of victory over the Bulls in Kings' history. The Kings won by 39 points on Feb. 8, 2000, in Sacramento.
