Pacers 108, Warriors 97: David West scored 28 points and George Hill added 23 as Indiana took control in the second half to dispatch of visiting Golden State and earn its fifth straight win.
Paul George collected 21 points and 11 rebounds and Roy Hibbert chipped in 13 and nine for the Pacers, who have won their last five games by double digits.
Stephen Curry went 7-of-10 from 3-point range en route to a season-high 38 points and David Lee had 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Warriors had their three-game winning streak come to an end.
Curry kept Golden State in the game in the first half by going 9-for-11 from the floor and handing out four assists. But Hill nearly matched Curry shot for shot and Indiana’s frontcourt helped the Pacers take a 54-53 lead into the break.
The Warriors were still within 65-64 with 7:01 left in the third when Indiana began to pull away. Hibbert and West scored four points apiece and George buried a 3-pointer to highlight a 13-0 run over the next four minutes.
George’s 3-pointer on the final possession of the third quarter made it an 85-73 gap heading into the final period.
Golden State used a quick burst to pull within 89-83 with 9:38 left but went the next 6:21 without a field goal as the Pacers pulled away. Three straight baskets by West pushed the advantage back to double digits and Indiana coasted to the finish.
A scuffle broke out with 6:10 left in the fourth quarter after Hibbert shoved Lee and numerous players from both teams joined the fray. The scrap spilled into the front row before it was broken up and Hibbert was ejected.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Warriors were without C Andrew Bogut (back spasms) for the third straight game. … The Pacers will be looking for their sixth straight double-digit win when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. … Golden State PG Jarrett Jack was held to 11 points on 2-of-10 shooting after averaging 24.7 points in the previous three contests. … Indiana F Danny Granger went 1-for-7 from the floor en route to five points in his second game of the season. Granger has totaled seven points on 2-of-17 shooting in the two contests.
