Heat 86, Bulls 67: LeBron James had 26 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists as visiting Miami eased to its season-high ninth consecutive victory.
Dwyane Wade scored 17 points and Chris Bosh added 12 as the Heat limited Chicago to a season-low point total and halted a four-game skid at the United Center. Miami's last six wins have come by double digits.
Nate Robinson scored 14 points and Carlos Boozer had 12 and 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who committed 17 of their season-high 27 turnovers in the first half in falling for the sixth time in nine games this month. It was the most turnovers by Chicago since December 2004.
Following a sloppy opening quarter in which both teams turned the ball over eight times, the Heat took control four minutes into the second quarter by ripping off 13 unanswered points en route to taking a 45-35 lead into halftime.
The disjointed Bulls never made a run at Miami, getting within seven points briefly in the third period before the Heat extended it to back to double figures and pushed the margin to as much as 20 in the final quarter.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich, who missed seven games with an elbow injury prior to returning Tuesday, was sidelined again after a scar on his elbow split open. ... Miami made a minor move at the trade deadline, sending seldom-used big man Dexter Pittman and a second-round draft pick in 2013 to Memphis in exchange for a trade exception. ... Reggie Rose, the older brother and manager of star Bulls PG Derrick Rose, caused a stir Thursday by criticizing the team's lack of player moves and suggesting to ESPN Chicago that it could be a factor on whether Derrick Rose comes back from his knee injury this season. Derrick Rose released a statement afterward saying he and the Bulls share the same goals: "to bring another championship to this city.”
