Brandon Jennings scored a season-high 32 points and had seven assists to help the Milwaukee Bucks end a five-game losing skid with a 104-101 victory over the visiting Charlotte Bobcats.
Ersan Ilyasova had 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Bucks (6-10). John Salmons added 16 points and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
D.J. Augustin matched his season-high with 26 points to lead Charlotte (6-11). Gerald Wallace added 19 points for the Bobcats, but suffered an apparent left elbow injury when he was fouled with 7.1 seconds left and Charlotte trailing by two points.
Milwaukee selected Kwame Brown to shoot the free throws and Brown made one of two. Jennings added two free throws with 5.7 seconds left and Charlotte was unable to get off a potential game-tying 3-point shot before the buzzer.
Bobcats leading scorer Stephen Jackson was ejected just 4 1/2 minutes into the contest for arguing with a referee. Jackson felt he was fouled and was hit with two technical fouls and the ejection.
Jennings made six of Milwaukee’s 10 3-point baskets. Charlotte hit just 2-of-16 3-point shots.
Charlotte’s Shaun Livingston scored a season-high 16 points and Dominic McGuire had his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Milwaukee played without three key players. Center Andrew Bogut missed his third straight game with a back injury, while Corey Maggette (ankle) and Drew Gooden (foot) also sat out.
