Padres 10, Diamondbacks 4: Everth Cabrera had three hits and matched his career high with four RBIs as visiting San Diego ended a three-game losing streak.

Nick Hundley contributed two hits and scored twice and Yonder Alonso drove in two runs for the Padres. San Diego starter Andrew Cashner (4-2) pitched six innings, allowing four runs and nine hits while helping himself with an RBI single in the fourth inning that tied the score at 4.

Arizona starter Wade Miley (3-4) lasted 3 2/3 innings - his shortest outing of the season – allowing seven runs and seven hits en route to his third straight loss. Eric Chavez drove in three runs with a two-run homer and sacrifice fly, helping the Diamondbacks to an early 4-2 lead, and Martin Prado and Gerardo Parra added three hits apiece.

The Padres erupted for five runs in the fourth, all with two outs. After Cashner’s single tied the score, leadoff hitter Chris Denorfia delivered a run-scoring double for a 5-4 lead and Cabrera, who hit a two-run homer in the second inning, followed with a two-run double.

San Diego tacked on two more runs in the fifth after loading the bases with one out. Hundley singled in one run and Kyle Blanks followed him home after an error by Parra in center field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hundley had three hits in his last 42 at-bats coming into the game. … Denorfia came in hitting .350 in his career against Arizona with eight home runs. He doesn’t have more than three home runs against any other opponent. … Arizona OF A.J. Pollock, who was 5-for-8 in the leadoff spot the previous two games, was not in the starting lineup.
