Flames 4, Oilers 0: Markus Granlund scored twice and defenseman Dennis Wideman added a goal and two assists as visiting Calgary completed a sweep of the five-game season series to maintain its hold on third place in the Pacific Division.

Jonas Hiller turned aside all 27 shots he faced after replacing an injured Karri Ramo in the opening minute to help keep the Flames one point ahead of division rival Los Angeles, which has a game in hand. Joe Colborne also tallied and Josh Jooris collected a pair of assists as Calgary won its seventh in a row in the Battle of Alberta and sixth straight at Edmonton while climbing within two points of second-place Vancouver in the Pacific.

Sean Monahan collected his 30th assist to match his 30 goals as the Flames registered their 22nd road victory for the first time since the 1988-89 season. Ben Scrivens made 25 saves in dropping his third straight start for Edmonton.

Hiller was tested immediately following Ramo's exit, denying a rebound chance by Jordan Eberle before Calgary converted at the other end 1:59 into the contest. Mason Raymond's shot bounced off the chest of Colborne and into the net for a goal that was upheld by video review.

The Flames doubled the lead with 2:04 left in the second as Jooris sent a circle-to-circle pass to Granlund, who lifted a shot over a fallen Scrivens. Wideman added an insurance tally during a power play at 2:16 of the third, burying a one-timer from the top of the left circle for his 15th goal, and Granlund capped his two-goal performance with 68 seconds remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ramo was hurt while making a pad save on Edmonton RW Nail Yakupov 58 seconds into the game and appeared to be unable to put any weight on his left leg. ... Oilers C Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who leads the team in goals, sat out the contest due to a lower-body injury. ... Wideman boosted his season total to 52 points, eclipsing his previous career best (50) set with Boston in 2008-09.
