Carlos Pena and Aramis Ramirez homered and drove in two runs apiece as the Chicago Cubs cruised to a 6-1 home triumph over the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday.
Roy Halladay (11-4) left the contest in the fifth inning due to heat exhaustion. The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner saw his personal six-game winning streak end after yielding three runs on seven hits on a 91-degree night.
Rookie Darwin Barney and Kosuke Fukudome had RBI doubles, and Pena finished with three hits for Chicago, which collected just its fourth win in 12 games.
Ramirez's homer in his first gave him 15 since June 1 - most in Major League Baseball.
The offensive outburst was more than enough for Rodrigo Lopez (2-2), who allowed one run on five hits in 6 2/3 innings.
Jimmy Rollins belted a solo homer and John Mayberry Jr. had two of the five hits for Philadelphia, which fell for the first time in 11 outings when Halladay starts.
