Phillies 2, White Sox 1 (2nd, 13): Michael Young’s walk-off single with two outs in the 13th inning scored Jimmy Rollins as host Philadelphia earned a split of its day-night doubleheader with Chicago.

Rollins grounded into a fielder’s choice that forced out Humberto Quintero, but advanced to second base on a sacrifice by pitcher Joe Savery. Young ended it three pitches later when he lined a single into right off Simon Castro (0-1) to give Philadelphia its sixth walk-off victory of the season.

Jeff Keppinger had two chances to put Chicago ahead in extra innings, but was thrown out at home by left fielder Domonic Brown to end the 11th and grounded out with a runner on third to close the 12th. Savery (2-0) worked around a pair of walks in the 13th for the victory.

Chicago broke a scoreless tie in the fifth as Blake Tekotte doubled to deep left to open the inning and advanced to third when Hector Santiago reached on a sacrifice. Two batters later, Gordon Beckham plated Tekotte on a sacrifice fly to left.

John Mayberry helped Philadelphia break through against Santiago with two outs in the seventh when he sent a first-pitch curveball over the fence in left. The White Sox left-hander settled for his fourth straight no-decision despite matching a season high with nine strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phillies CF Ben Revere suffered a broken foot on a foul ball before hitting into a game-ending double play in the first game of the doubleheader. Revere, who ranks fourth in the National League with 22 stolen bases, underwent X-rays to confirm the injury and is scheduled to see a specialist Monday. … Beckham suffered a left quadriceps contusion when he collided with RF Casper Wells on a sliding catch by Wells on a foul ball in the 12th. The second baseman finished the inning, but was replaced by C Josh Phegley – the lone position player left on Chicago’s bench – in the 13th. … Washington starter John Lannan yielded one run and four hits over eight innings, posting consecutive outings of at least eight innings for the first time since July 21-26, 2009.
