Steelers 37, Lions 27: Ben Roethlisberger threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns as host Pittsburgh used a strong defensive performance in the second half to continue its home dominance of Detroit.

Antonio Brown made seven catches for 147 yards and two scores while Will Johnson grabbed the go-ahead touchdown reception for the Steelers (4-6), who are unbeaten in their last 10 home meetings (9-0-1) with the Lions. Jerricho Cotchery also had a TD catch for Pittsburgh, which has not lost to Detroit at home since 1955.

Matthew Stafford completed 19-of-46 passes for 362 yards and two touchdowns for the NFC North-leading Lions (6-4), followed by Chicago and Green Bay. Calvin Johnson had six receptions for 179 yards and a pair of TDs - all in the first two quarters - as Pittsburgh then clamped down defensively in the second half.

The Steelers held a 14-0 lead after one quarter as Brown hauled in scoring passes of 34 and 47 yards. The Lions erupted for 27 points in the second, however, with Johnson making 79- and 19-yard TD receptions and Joique Bell running for a 2-yard touchdown with 1:42 remaining for a 24-20 advantage.

Shaun Suisham kicked a 21-yard field goal in the third quarter to get the Steelers within 27-23, and Roethlisberger (29-of-45 passing) connected with Will Johnson for a 1-yard touchdown with 4:46 to play in the fourth to put Pittsburgh in front. After an interception by Will Allen, Roethlisberger hit Cotchery for a 20-yard TD with 2:29 left to seal the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stafford and Johnson were unstoppable in the first half, with the former completing 16 passes for 327 yards and the latter making six catches for 179 yards. The duo cooled down dramatically, however, as Stafford threw for only 35 yards in the second half and did not complete a pass to Johnson. ... The Steelers have won four straight and 13 of their last 15 overall meetings with Detroit. ... Stafford became the Lions' all-time leader in passing yards on his 79-yard TD toss to Johnson, moving ahead of Bobby Layne (15,710).
