Ravens 28, Patriots 13: Joe Flacco threw for 240 yards and three touchdown passes as visiting Baltimore rallied in the second half to advance to the Super Bowl for the first time in 12 years.

Flacco connected with Anquan Boldin for a pair of scoring passes less than four minutes apart early in the fourth quarter as the fourth-seeded Ravens (13-6) avenged a 23-20 loss at New England in last season's AFC championship game.

Baltimore scored 21 unanswered points to erase a 13-7 halftime deficit and set up a brother-vs.-brother matchup in Super Bowl XLVII between Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and San Francisco counterpart Jim Harbaugh.

Tom Brady threw for 320 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and was kept off the scoreboard after halftime as the Patriots (13-5) fell to 4-1 at home in AFC title games. The league's highest-scoring team also lost for the first time in 68 games when leading at halftime with Brady under center.

Flacco rebounded from a pedestrian first half in which he threw for 81 yards to lead touchdown drives on three consecutive second-half possessions and surpass Eli Manning for the most career road playoff wins with six.

The Ravens went ahead to stay 14-13 on Flacco's 5-yard scoring pass to tight end Dennis Pitta with 6:14 left in the third quarter. The lead grew to 21-13 when Flacco connected with Boldin from 3 yards out on the first play of the fourth quarter.

On the ensuing possession, Baltimore's Bernard Pollard forced a fumble with a crushing hit on Patriots running back Stevan Ridley near midfield. Flacco needed only four plays to get the Ravens in the end zone with an 11-yard strike to Boldin.
