No. 2 Gonzaga 56, Pepperdine 48: Kevin Pangos led the way with 19 points as the Bulldogs took over in the second half and continued their dominance of the visiting Waves.

Kyle Wiltjer collected 13 points and six rebounds and Domantas Sabonis scored 10 points off the bench as Gonzaga (26-1, 14-0 West Coast Conference) earned its 19th straight win and 40th in a row at home. Byron Wesley added eight points and Przemek Karnowski grabbed seven boards for the Bulldogs, who have taken 28 straight in the series.

Stacy Davis scored 13 points and Lamond Murray Jr. had 11 off the bench for Pepperdine (15-11, 8-7). Atif Russell grabbed eight boards for the Waves, who went 7-of-24 from the field in the second half.

Pepperdine shot 53.6 percent from the field in the first half but went into the break tied at 30 when Wiltjer closed the first half with a pair of free throws. The Waves missed their first three shots of the second half and Gonzaga took advantage, getting a 3-pointer from Pangos and four points from Wesley in a 7-0 run to open the period.

Pangos knocked down another 3-pointer and found Wesley and Sabonis for buckets to stretch the lead to 46-33 just over seven minutes into the second half. Wiltjer made it a 14-point cushion with less than seven minutes left and the Bulldogs closed it out.
