Warriors 117, Thunder 91: Harrison Barnes tied a career high with five 3-pointers en route to a season-high 23 points as Golden State blasted visiting Oklahoma City.
Stephen Curry collected 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals while Klay Thompson scored 19 points in 19 minutes for the Warriors, who won their 12th straight home game. Draymond Green added 11 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and three blocks while Justin Holiday scored 12 off the bench for Golden State.
Russell Westbrook scored 22 points on 5-of-21 shooting for the Thunder, who shot 30.6 percent from the field. Kevin Durant managed 14 points on 3-of-16 shooting and added 10 rebounds while Anthony Morrow added 17 and 10 off the bench as Oklahoma City fell to 0-3 against the Warriors this season.
Curry hit his first two shots and Thompson scored 13 straight as the Warriors took an early 17-6 lead and did not trail the rest of the way. The Thunder shot 28 percent in the first half and went into the break down 65-45 before falling behind by 22 early in the third.
Andre Iguodala’s four-point play late in the third pushed the gap back to 20 points but Golden State settled for an 84-65 lead heading into the fourth. Oklahoma City cut the deficit to 15 less than two minutes into the final period but the Warriors pushed right back, spreading the lead to 99-77 on Thompson’s 3-pointer with 6:20 left before cruising to the finish.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Curry has collected at least 10 points and five assists in 21 straight games – the longest active streak in the NBA. … Durant set an NBA record with 30 points in 19 minutes before spraining his ankle the last time the teams met. … Green has recorded multiple blocks in a career-high five straight games.
