Heat 94, Nets 82: LeBron James scored 22 points and Chris
Bosh added 18 as host Miami slipped past Brooklyn to take a 2-0 lead in
the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Dwayne Wade contributed 14
points, seven rebounds and seven assists and Ray Allen added 13 points
and eight rebounds for the second-seeded Heat. Allen scored all of his
points in the second half and made three 3-pointers for Miami, which
will look to make it three straight wins when they visit the Nets on
Saturday.
Mirza Teletovic made six 3-pointers en route to 20
points for sixth-seeded Brooklyn, which was outscored 25-15 in the fourth quarter.
Shaun Livingston scored 15 points and Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce added
13 apiece.
The Nets trailed by two points after Marcus Thornton’s
basket with 6:54 remaining before Miami took control with a 10-2 surge.
The Heat struggled on the boards but grabbed three consecutive
offensive rebounds before James drained a basket with 1:59 left to cap
the burst, and Mario Chalmers drained a 3-pointer just over a minute
later to seal it.
Teletovic made five first-half 3-pointers as
Brooklyn held a 46-45 lead at the break. Miami went ahead at 61-58 on
Allen’s 3-pointer with 3:04 left in the third quarter and took a 69-67
advantage into the final stanza.

Deron Williams experienced a miserable contest, going scoreless while
missing all nine of his shots. … The Heat racked up 10 steals while
scoring 15 points off 14 Brooklyn turnovers. … The Nets possessed a
43-36 edge on the boards, led by 12 from C Kevin Garnett.
