Rockets 119, Nets 106: James Harden scored 29 points and host Houston beat Brooklyn for the 12th consecutive time.
Omer Asik had 20 points and 16 rebounds and Chandler Parsons added 16 points and a career-high 11 assists as the Rockets won for only the third time in 11 games. Houston hasn't lost to the Nets since March 13, 2006.
Deron Williams got off to a blistering start with 20 first-quarter points and finished with 27 and 11 assists for the Nets before he was ejected with 1:07 left in the game. Center Brook Lopez added 21 points and a season high-tying five blocked shots.
Williams hit his first seven shots, including four 3-pointers, as Brooklyn took a 29-28 lead after one quarter. Houston seized control with a 25-6 burst to open the second quarter to go ahead by 18 points en route to a 62-49 edge at halftime.
The Nets crept within nine after three quarters but couldn't get any closer as Jeremy Lin hit a pair of quick 3-pointers. The Rockets finally broke it open when Carlos Delfino buried a 3-pointer and Harden scored five points in an 8-1 run to make it 113-98.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Delfino scored 13 points and was 3-of-5 from behind the arc, his sixth straight game in double figures and with at least three 3-pointers. ... Williams was 5-of-9 to help Brooklyn set a season high with 16 3-pointers on 36 attempts. ... The Rockets reinstated rookie Royce White from the suspended list. The team's first-round pick has been embroiled in a squabble with the team over how to treat his anxiety disorder.
