Chauncey Billups sank a 25-foot 3-pointer with one second remaining as the Los Angeles Clippers earned a rare victory over the visiting Dallas Mavericks, 91-89, Wednesday night.
The Clippers (8-4) had not defeated the Mavericks (8-7) in the regular season since Nov. 9, 2008, losing 10 in a row and 16 of the last 17.
Dallas' Jason Terry sank two late 3-pointers, including the go-ahead basket with five seconds remaining, before Billups' winning shot.
Clippers guard Mo Williams scored 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting after missing three games with a sore right foot.
Billups finished with 21 points and eight rebounds while Blake Griffin had 14 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. DeAndre Jordan added 19 points, nine rebounds and five blocks.
Delonte West scored a season-high 17 points for Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki had 17 points and seven rebounds, Shawn Marion had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Ian Mahinmi scored 13 points.
