Tony Parker had 19 points and nine assists and Tiago Splitter had 18 points to lead six Spurs players in double figures in a 116-92 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.
The Spurs clamped down defensively and held the Cavs to 35 points in the second half for the easy win.
Richard Jefferson had 14 points, Manu Ginobili had 13, Matt Bonner had 12 and Gary Neal had 10 for the Spurs (11-1), who are off to the best start in franchise history.
It was a tough back-to-back for the Cavaliers, who lost to the Spurs and New Orleans Hornets on consecutive nights. Mo Williams had 21 points for the Cavs, but was the only starter in double figures. Daniel Gibson had 17 points and Antawn Jamison had 12, both off the bench.
Parker’s jumper with a minute left in the third quarter put the Spurs up 89-73. They continued to build on that lead throughout the fourth.
The 116 points tied for the most allowed by the Cavs this season.
