Nationals 7, Braves 2: Jesus Flores had three hits and drove in the tie-breaking run as Washington completed a sweep of host Atlanta.
The Nationals rallied from an early 2-0 deficit, winning for the sixth time in seven games. The Braves lost their seventh straight contest.
Flores singled to left to score Adam LaRoche in the fourth to bring Washington within 2-1. Eventual winning pitcher Gio Gonzalez followed with a sacrifice fly to tie the game 2-2.
Gonzalez (7-1) gave up just one hit in seven innings, striking out 10.
In the sixth, Flores singled to center to score Danny Espinosa with the go-ahead run. Steve Lombardozzi doubled to right to plate two, and Ryan Zimmerman followed with a single to score Lombardozzi and give Washington a 6-2 advantage.
Bryce Harper added a solo homer in the top of the eighth for the Nationals.
Atlanta starter Brandon Beachy (5-3) surrendered three runs and walked four in five innings.
GAME NOTEBOOK: LaRoche went 2-for-3, raising his average to .295. ... Atlanta’s Juan Francisco lined a single in the eighth for just Atlanta’s second hit.
