Darius Morris posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists as Michigan downed visiting Utah 75-64 on Friday night.
Morris was one of four players to score in double figures for the Wolverines (7-2), who took control from the outset and coasted to victory.
Tim Hardaway Jr. buried three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points. Zack Novak just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds and Jordan Morgan finished with 11 points and four rebounds.
Michigan shot 27 of 59 (45.8 percent) and committed just eight turnovers while forcing Utah (6-3) into 16 turnovers. The Utes also struggled at the free-throw line, converting 7 of 13 chances.
Jay Watkins finished with 17 points and seven rebounds for Utah, including a 7-of-10 effort from the charity stripe. Chris Hines and Will Clyburn added 11 points each, with Clyburn pulling down eight boards.
Aside from a 4-4 tie about three minutes into the game, the Utes never really gave Michigan much of a threat. The Wolverines led by 17 points, 39-22, at halftime and held a double-digit lead throughout the second half.
