Rockets 117, Raptors 101: James Harden, Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin recorded double-doubles to lead Houston to its third consecutive home win overall and its sixth straight home victory over Toronto.
Harden scored a game-high 24 points and dished out 12 assists, Asik scored 13 points to go with 18 rebounds and Lin added 16 points and 10 assists. Patrick Patterson contributed 22 points and Chandler Parsons had 18 points and seven boards for Houston, which shot 53 percent overall and 13-for-26 from 3-point range.
Andrea Bargnani scored 21 points and Terrence Ross added 19 off the bench for the Raptors, who have lost five straight overall and dropped to 1-8 on the road.
Houston led 61-51 at halftime. The Rockets reeled off a 10-0 run over a span of less than two minutes in the third quarter to extend the lead to 78-55 and never let Toronto back in it.
Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry had seven points, eight rebounds and five assists in his return to Houston, where he played 3 1/2 seasons before being traded over the summer.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Raptors, who play at Memphis on Wednesday, dropped to 0-6 in the first game of back-to-back sets. They are 3-2 in the second game. … Parsons has scored in double figures in a career-best eight consecutive games, and he has made a 3-pointer in 20 straight dating to last season. … The Rockets had all five starters score in double figures for the second straight game and the third time this season.
