Anthony scored eight straight points in the fourth quarter, with the last basket of that stretch tying it up 81-81 with 2:02 left. Someone else on the team finally did some scoring on the next possession, when Mike Bibby buried a 3-pointer to put New York on top, 84-81.

Miami was called for an over-and-back violation on the next play and Shane Battier committed a foul on a 3-point attempt, giving Anthony three chances at the line. He missed the first two but hit the third to make it a two-possession game.
The Heat had one last chance but Dwyane Wade missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Miami led by as much as 51-40 early in the third quarter before Anthony started to get hot. He scored nine points during a 19-2 burst that put the Knicks on top, 59-53. Anthony totaled 12 points in the third, helping New York take a 64-61 lead into the fourth.
James finished with 27 points on 9-of-21 shooting for Miami.
