Monta Ellis led the way with 30 points and six assists, and Stephen Curry added 23 points as the Golden State Warriors held off the Los Angeles Clippers, 122-112, on Friday.
David Lee chipped in 19 points and nine rebounds while Reggie Williams scored 16 off the bench for the Warriors, who connected on 14 of 26 3-point attempts to avenge a 105-91 loss Sunday at the Staples Center.
Golden State led 94-86 at the beginning of the fourth quarter but watched that advantage disappear as the Clippers opened the frame with a 10-2 burst to knot it up with 8:04 left. But the Warriors did not fold, snapping a three-minute scoring drought when Ellis drained a 3-pointer to kick off an 8-2 spurt.
Los Angeles had one last run in it, racing back again to tie it a 106 when DeAndre Jordan hit a pair of free throws with 3:58 on the clock. But Vladimir Radmanovic knocked down two straight 3-pointers and Ellis scored twice during a 12-2 run that put it away.
Blake Griffin collected 28 points and 13 rebounds while Gordon finished with 28 points for the Clippers, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
