Dave Bush threw six scoreless innings and drove in a run and Ryan Braun had two RBIs to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-1 win over the New York Mets on Wednesday to claim a sweep in the doubleheader at Citi Field.
Bush (8-13) allowed three hits and three walks for his first win since Aug. 29, and he gave Milwaukee a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the third.
Braun padded the Brewers' lead with a two-run double in the eighth and Carlos Gomez had three hits for Milwaukee (75-83).
Mets starter R.A. Dickey (11-9) took the loss, allowing one run and six hits over seven innings.
Trevor Hoffman pitched a perfect ninth for his 10th save of the season and the 601st of his career.
Rookie Ike Davis drove in the lone run for the Mets (77-81) with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
The Brewers won the first game, 8-7.
