After beginning Pac-12 play by blowing a second-half lead, Oregon found itself ahead after halftime two days later.

This time, led by a defensive effort that turned into instant offense, the Ducks ran away from Colorado for a 77-62 win Sunday night in Eugene, Ore.

Much like the game against Utah two nights ago when Oregon (11-4, 1-1 Pac-12) entered the second half leading by eight, the Ducks began the second half against the Buffaloes (8-6, 0-2 Pac-12) with a nine-point edge.

There would be no comeback though, as Oregon used a 16-4 run early in the second period to put the game out of reach.

Freshman Troy Brown Jr. had arguably his best game as a Duck, finishing with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting. He was sensational in the open court, often grabbing a rebound on the defensive end and starting the break, resulting in a bucket for himself or a teammate. He also finished with seven rebounds and four steals.

Senior transfer Elijah Brown added 17 points for Oregon while point guard Payton Pritchard finished with 12 points and four assists. Freshman Kenny Wooten continued his solid play as of late, finishing with 13 points, seven rebounds and three blocks.

Colorado was led by Namon Wright's 20 points off the bench. McKinley Wright IV finished with 13 points.

The Ducks forced 20 Colorado turnovers and attacked the rim at will, leading to 22 Buffalo fouls.

The game began much like Oregon's affair with Utah, with the Ducks starting hot, grabbing a 13-2 lead over the first six minutes.

Colorado battled back, cutting the deficit to six with 30 seconds to play in the half after a George King 3-pointer. However, Pritchard sent Oregon into the half with momentum when he hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for a 37-28 lead at the break.

The Ducks hit the road for their first away game in nearly three weeks when they face rival Oregon State in Corvallis on Friday.

The Buffaloes play host to No. 3 Arizona State on Thursday.
