Sophomore guard KeVaughn Allen scored 21 points and senior guard Canyon Barry added 20 to lead Florida to an 81-76 victory over Seton Hall in an Advocare Invitational quarterfinal Thursday night at HP Field House in Kisimmee, Fla.

The Gators (5-0) used a 10-0 run midway through the second half to erase Seton Hall's last lead and earn a semifinal matchup with No. 11 Gonzaga on Friday night. Junior guard Chris Chiozza chipped in 14 points for Florida and junior center John Egbunu produced 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Junior guard Khadeen Carrington scored a career-high 28 points for Seton Hall (3-1) before fouling out in the waning seconds. While Carrington drilled 10 of 16 from the field, his teammates combined to shoot 17 of 47 (36 percent).

Freshman guard Myles Powell posted 16 points for the Pirates, who will face Quinnipiac (0-3) in consolation action Friday night.

Seton Hall held a 47-42 lead after Carrington's jumper with 16:07 left, but Florida reeled off 10 straight points to take the lead for good. Barry started the run with a pair of free throws and Egbunu closed it with a free throw to give the Gators a 52-47 lead with 11:36 left.

Carrington turned his own missed shot into a 3-point play to pull Seton Hall within 73-71 with 1:56 to go.

The Pirates forced a stop and grabbed the defensive rebound, but Allen came from the blind side to strip senior guard Madison Jones as he initiated a fast break. Allen then canned a jumper with just under a minute to go to restore a four-point lead.

Powell countered with a 3-pointer that missed, which led to a pair of free throws by Chiozza and a 77-71 margin with 40 seconds to play.
