No. 1 Kentucky 65, Vanderbilt 57: Aaron Harrison scored all 14 of his points in the second half and freshman Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a season-high seven blocks as the undefeated Wildcats continued the fourth-best start in school history by rebuffing the visiting Commodores.

Dakari Johnson recorded 10 points and four rebounds while Willie Cauley-Stein added six points, 10 rebounds and three of Kentucky's eight steals. Marcus Lee added seven points, six rebounds and two blocks as the Wildcats (18-0, 5-0 SEC) swatted 11 shots to increase their nation-leading average to 8.1.

Freshman Riley LaChance scored 16 points, but could not prevent Vanderbilt (11-7, 1-4) from losing its fourth straight game and seventh in a row at Rupp Arena. Matthew Fisher-Davis added 13 and combined with LaChance to shoot 7-of-11 from 3-point range while Damian Jones added 11 points, seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Commodores, who were 6-for-12 from the free-throw line while Kentucky was 21-for-32.

After trailing 33-26 at halftime, Vanderbilt scored the first four points out of the break while the Wildcats missed their first five shots before Harrison's first basket made it 35-30. That ignited an 8-1 run - highlighted by six straight points by Lee, including an alley-oop dunk off Harrison's feed - as Kentucky took their first double-digit lead 41-31 with 13:48 left, but LaChance drilled a pair of 3-pointers to close the deficit to 50-46 with 7:52 remaining.

The Commodores drew closer on Fisher-Davis' 3-pointer to make it 54-51 with 5:06 to go, but Cauley-Stein scored and came up with a steal on the next possession, and a pair of Harrison free throws extended the Wildcats' lead to 58-51 with 3:17 left. Harrison answered Fisher-Davis' 3-pointer with one of his own from the corner to move Kentucky ahead 61-54 with 2:11 to play and Andrew Harrison's only field goal - a driving layup - extended the lead to 63-55 with 1:09 left.
