Sean Kilpatrick scored 17 of his game-high 20 points as Cincinnati routed hosted Wright State 78-58 on Wednesday despite having only nine players in uniform following Saturday's brawl with Xavier.
The Bearcats (6-3), who had four players suspended following the ugly melee, including senior forward Yancy Gates, opened the game with a 17-2 run and were never threatened.
Cincinnati started four guards and posted season-highs in points (78), field goal percentage (54.9 percent), and 3-point field goals (14) in its best game of the season.
Kilpatrick had a career-high six 3-pointers to lead five players in double figures. JaQuon Parker scored a season-best 14 points while Cashmere Wright had 12 points and eight assists.
Justin Jackson added 11 points and eight rebounds while Dion Dixon chipped in 10 points.
A.J. Pacher and John Balwigaire scored 11 points apiece for Wright State (4-7), whose only lead was 2-0 in the first 20 seconds.
