Adam Jones drove in four runs, Ketel Marte hit an inside-the-park home run and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Washington Nationals 7-5 on Sunday in Phoenix.

Jones went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI doubles and a go-ahead two-run single in the seventh for the final score.

Marte's 24th home run of the season came in the third inning after he lined a shot into left-center field. Center fielder Gerardo Parra missed on a diving attempt, and the ball kicked off the fence away from left fielder Juan Soto back toward center.

The throw to the plate came in high and up the line, and Marte slid inside to avoid the tag.

Arizona took a 5-4 lead in the sixth inning on Jones' second RBI double of the game, but Washington tied the game in the seventh. Trea Turner led off with an infield single, advanced on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Anthony Rendon's single to left.

Jones delivered a two-out, two-run single off Wander Suero (3-6) in the seventh. Tim Locastro began the rally by being hit by a pitch to start the inning, followed by Marte's single, his third hit of the game.

Yoshihisa Hirano (4-5) got the win despite giving up the lead in the seventh. Archie Bradley pitched two scoreless innings for his second save of the season.

Parra and Brian Dozier, who each pitched in emergency relief in Washington's 18-7 loss on Saturday night, both homered Sunday.

Neither starter factored in the decision.

Arizona's Taylor Clarke gave up three runs and four hits in 5 2/3 innings, striking out three and walking one. Washington's Patrick Corbin went 5 1/3 innings, yielding five runs and seven hits. He struck out five and walked three.

Washington took a 2-0 lead in the second on Parra's two-run shot, but the Diamondbacks answered with three in the bottom of the inning.

Christian Walker led off with a walk and scored a batter later on Jones' double. Wilmer Flores walked and Nick Ahmed knocked in two with a double to the wall in center for a 3-2 lead.
