Giants 7, Dodgers 4 (10): Pablo Sandoval recorded a season-high three hits, including a go-ahead RBI single in the 10th inning, and visiting San Francisco won its fourth consecutive series against Los Angeles.

The Dodgers forced extra innings on Hanley Ramirez’s two-out, two-run homer in the ninth off Sergio Romo (3-0), who suffered his first blown save in 13 chances. Jean Machi recorded his first career save for the Giants, who took three of four in the series and have won eight of their last 10 at Dodger Stadium.

San Francisco loaded the bases with none out in the 10th against Kenley Jansen (0-2) before Sandoval and pinch hitter Hector Sanchez delivered RBI singles and Buster Posey scored on a wild pitch by J.P. Howell. Andre Ethier collected three hits for the Dodgers, who fell to 3-7 in extra-inning games and have been outscored 37-17 beyond the eighth inning this season.

The Giants trailed 2-1 when Sandoval singled to begin the seventh and Brandon Hicks followed with his seventh home run off Clayton Kershaw, who struck out nine while allowing three runs over seven frames. Los Angeles' Yasiel Puig extended his hitting streak to a career-high 11 games with two hits, including a leadoff homer in the sixth that evened the contest at 1-1.

Ramirez followed Puig’s blast with a double and scored on Adrian Gonzalez’s single off Tim Hudson, who yielded two runs and eight hits over six innings. The Giants regained the lead in the seventh and moved ahead 4-2 in the eighth on Posey’s RBI single off Chris Withrow.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sandoval, who entered the game mired in a 6-for-38 slump, posted his first multi-hit performance since April 27 against Cleveland. … Los Angeles SS Juan Uribe missed his third straight game due to a right hamstring strain. … Posey, Hunter Pence and Angel Pagan had two hits apiece for San Francisco, which improved to 18-1 when leading after seven innings.
