No. 24 Cincinnati 80, UT-Martin 57: Cashmere Wright scored 16 points as the host Bearcats ran out to a 33-6 lead en route to their fifth straight season-opening victory.
Wright connected on 4-of-7 3-pointers and Sean Kilpatrick added 14 points as Cincinnati shot 47.5 percent and outrebounded the Skyhawks by a 49-29 margin.
The Bearcats took a 43-17 lead into halftime and UT-Martin never got closer than 24 points.
A Wright dunk and Kilpatrick's three-point play helped get the run going. JaQuon Parker hit back-to-back 3-pointers midway through the first half to punctuate the spurt.
Jeremy Washington led the Skyhawks (0-2) with 15 points.
