Angels 5, Brewers 3: J.B. Shuck highlighted a seventh-inning rally with a three-run double as visiting Los Angeles completed a three-game sweep.
Kole Calhoun drove in a pair of runs and Mike Trout finished a homer shy of the cycle for the Angels, who completed an 8-1 road trip with four consecutive victories. C.J. Wilson (14-6) yielded three runs - two earned - over six innings en route to his sixth straight win and 10th in 11 decisions.
Ernesto Frieri fanned Jonathan Lucroy and Khris Davis with the bases loaded and one out in the eighth before striking out two more in a perfect ninth for his 30th save.
Calhoun gave the Angels the lead with an RBI single in the third but made a costly error in the bottom half on a double by Jeff Bianchi, who eventually scored on Kyle Lohse's sacrifice. Carlos Gomez put Milwaukee ahead in the fourth with a two-run homer, but Shuck cleared the bases in the seventh with his two-base hit and scored on Calhoun's ground-rule double to make it 5-3.
Rob Wooten (3-1) took the loss as he surrendered three runs on three hits and two walks while retiring only two batters. Gomez finished with two of the four hits by the Brewers, who have dropped four of five.
