Reds 3, Mets 2 (10): Shin-Soo Choo delivered a walk-off single in the 10th with his third hit as host Cincinnati wrapped up a postseason berth.

Choo hammered a long drive to left-center off Sean Henn that barely missed being a home run to plate Devin Mesoraco with the winning run as the Reds won for the sixth time in seven games to remain tied with Pittsburgh in the race for the top National League wild card. Cincinnati clinched a playoff slot when Washington lost to St. Louis.

Manny Parra (2-3) pitched a scoreless 10th for the win as the Reds overcame stranding 15 runners on base - 10 by Ryan Ludwick - in snapping New York's three-game winning streak. Lucas Duda accounted for both of the Mets' runs with a homer and sacrifice fly while Greg Burke (0-3) took the loss.

Reds starter Johnny Cueto was outstanding in his second start since coming off the disabled list, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits in seven innings. Aaron Harang, in his third start since he was signed by the Reds, overcame a shaky beginning and a season-high six walks to limit Cincinnati to two runs on five hits over six innings.

The Reds pushed across a pair of runs in the second inning on Choo's RBI single and Joey Votto's bases-loaded walk, but the Mets pulled even on Duda's sacrifice fly in the third and his 414-foot blast in the sixth - his 15th of the year.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Votto walked a career-high five times to give him 132 on the season, tying Hall of Famer Joe Morgan's franchise record set in 1975. ... Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said he will decide the fate of manager Terry Collins' future in early October, but praised him for doing an "excellent job." Alderson also said RHP Matt Harvey, whose season was halted by a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow, could pitch in the Arizona Fall League. ... Reds 3B Todd Frazier was caught stealing to end the fifth inning, ending a streak of 15 straight stolen bases by the Reds.
