Orioles 7, Blue Jays 4: Chris Davis homered for the fourth straight game to tie the American League record with 37 entering the All-Star break and Scott Feldman picked up his first win with host Baltimore.
Davis, who doubled in two runs during a four-run first inning, hit a two-run shot in the third to make it 6-0 and give him homers in four straight games for the first time since April 2-5. His 37 blasts tie him with Reggie Jackson (1969) for the second-most before the All-Star break in baseball history, with Barry Bonds' 39 in 2001 the standard.
Adam Jones homered for the third straight game and scored three times for the Orioles, who tied a franchise record by hitting a home run in their 16th straight game against an AL East opponent.
Feldman (8-7), making his third start for Baltimore since a July 2 trade with the Chicago Cubs, gave up three runs on five hits in 7 1/3 innings. He struck out seven and walked only one in picking up his first victory in seven career outings versus Toronto.
Blue Jays starter Josh Johnson (1-5) was pounded for seven runs in six innings in losing his third straight start. Maicer Izturis hit a two-run single in the fourth and added an RBI base hit in the ninth for Toronto before Jim Johnson slammed the door for his 33rd save.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Orioles RHP Chris Tillman was tabbed as a replacement for Detroit RHP Justin Verlander on the American League All-Star team. ... Toronto is 7-13 since tying a franchise record with 11 straight wins. ... Following the break, the Blue Jays open the second half of the season at home against Tampa Bay. Baltimore visits Texas.
