Marlins 5, Astros 4 (11):
Gaby Sanchez doubled home Chris Coghlan in the 11th inning as Florida opened its six-game homestand with a win.

After Coghlan singled off Brandon Lyon (0-1) to start the inning, Sanchez drove a 0-2 pitch off the wall in left field.

The Marlins used seven pitchers, including Ryan Webb (1-0), who earned the win after pitching a scoreless top of the 11th.

Trailing 4-2 in the top of the eighth, the Astros tied the game when J.D. Martinez hit the first home run at Marlins Park off Edward Mujica.

Martinez, a Miami native, hit his two-run blast just over the wall in left-center field on a night when several long drives stayed in the spacious ballpark.

In his first game after starting the season on the disabled list, Jed Lowrie went 2-for-3 and gave the Astros an early lead with a first-inning RBI single.

Neither starting pitcher made it past five innings, with the Marlins’ Ricky Nolasco giving up two runs over five innings and Lucas Harrell allowing four runs on seven hits in four innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami acting manager Joey Cora moved to 1-2 during his five-game stint filling in for suspended manager Ozzie Guillen. …Heath Bell walked three consecutive batters with two outs in the top of the ninth before getting Carlos Lee to ground out to end the inning. …Omar Infante went 2-for-5 to extend his hitting streak to six games and increase his batting average to .367.
