No. 11 Kansas State 81, Baylor 61: Angel Rodriguez posted career highs of 22 points and 10 assists as the host Wildcats remained in a tie atop the Big 12 standings.

Shane Southwell sank six 3-pointers and scored 19 points for Kansas State (20-5, 9-3 Big 12). Jordan Henriquez, who scored a career-high 22 points against Baylor in the final regular-season game last year, finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots.

A.J. Walton scored 14 points, Isaiah Austin had 13 and Brady Heslip finished with 12 for Baylor (16-9, 7-5). Pierre Jackson, the leading scorer in the Big 12, finished with seven points, ending a conference-leading streak of 31 straight games in double figures.

An 11-0 run gave Kansas State a 23-16 lead with 6:33 remaining in the first half and the Wildcats took a nine-point advantage into the locker room. Kansas State shot 6-for-12 from beyond the 3-point line in the opening half and committed two turnovers.

Rodney McGruder, who scored 10 points for Kansas State, left the game after picking up his third foul during a 12-0 run that pulled the Bears within two with 12:46 left. But the Wildcats sank 3-pointers on three straight possessions and Baylor never got back within seven.
