Oklahoma 74, Baylor 71: Amath M’Baye and Steven Pledger each scored 20 points, and Pledger hit two free throws with eight seconds left to help the visiting Sooners snap the Bears’ three-game win streak.

M’Baye, who had 12 points in the first half, finished with seven rebounds to help Oklahoma (14-5, 5-2 Big 12) win for the seventh time in nine games. Romero Osby had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Buddy Hield added nine points for Oklahoma, which played its second straight road game after a loss at No. 1 Kansas on Saturday.

Baylor (14-6, 5-2), which trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half, got 17 points and 21 rebounds (12 offensive) from Isaiah Austin. Pierre Jackson, the Big 12 Player of the Week, scored 22 points with eight rebounds and seven assists. A.J. Walton scored 12 points and Brady Heslip added 11 for the Bears, who fell to 9-1 at home.

Pledger made two free throws to give Oklahoma a 74-71 lead with eight seconds left. Jackson missed a 3-point attempt with three seconds left, Austin rebounded and Heslip missed a 3-pointer with one second left, allowing Oklahoma to escape.

Oklahoma produced a 17-6 run for a 38-26 lead at intermission. Baylor outrebounded Oklahoma 47-34 but the Sooners shot 52.7 percent from the field to the Bears’ 37.3 percent.
