Baylor 82, Texas Christian 56: Pierre Jackson poured in 20 points before fouling out and Isaiah Austin added 18 points and six rebounds as the visiting Bears rolled to an easy conference win.
Rico Gathers tallied 15 points and 10 boards and Gary Franklin scored 12 on a career-high four 3-pointers for Baylor (14-5, 5-1 Big 12), which is off to a 5-1 start in Big 12 play for the first time since 1997-98. The Bears have won three straight and six of seven, including a season sweep of the Horned Frogs.
Aldrick McKinney had 15 points and eight rebounds and Connell Crossland scored 12 points off the bench for TCU (9-11, 0-7), whose scoring total was its highest in its first seven Big 12 games despite shooting 33.3 percent (18-for-54) from the field.
The Bears scored the game's first seven points and never trailed. They pushed the margin as wide as 24 points in the first half before TCU was able to close within 43-26 at halftime.
Any hope of a comeback was crushed when the Horned Frogs went nearly five minutes between field goals in the second half, as Baylor pushed the lead to 67-39.
