Alabama 50, Texas A&M 49: Trevor Lacey's jumper with nine seconds left lifted host Alabama to its third straight win.
Fabyon Harris had put the Aggies on top with a jumper with 19 seconds to go, but Lacey answered and Trevor Releford stole the ball to preserve the win.
Alabama (11-6, 3-1 SEC) got 15 points from Releford, who returned after missing one game with an ankle injury. Lacey hit 4-of-6 from beyond the arc and finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
Elston Turner led Texas A&M (12-5, 2-2) with 13 points, J'Mychal Reese scored 10, and Kourtney Roberson had nine points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
The Aggies led 26-15 after forcing Alabama into 5-of-18 shooting and 10 first-half turnovers. The Tide opened the second half on a 19-4 run and it was 45-45 with 1:30 left.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Aggies fell to 2-1 in true road games this season, having won at Houston and Kentucky. … Alabama leads the series 7-3. ... The Aggies came in leading the SEC in 3-point shooting percentage (38.5), but made 2-of-11 (18.2 percent) from deep.
