Quincy Acy added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Bears (8-0), who took a 31-16 lead into halftime. Baylor increased its advantage to 30 points on Jackson’s 3-pointer with 11:54 left in the second half.
Perry Jones III, making his third start since being reinstated from a five-game suspension for amateurism violations, finished with eight points for the Bears, who held their opponent to fewer than 50 points for the second straight game.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats (3-7) were held to their lowest point total since scoring 51 in losses to Central Florida and Illinois State. Seniors Garrius Holloman and Anthony Breeze combined for more than half of Bethune-Cookman’s point total, finishing with 13 and 12, respectively.
