Wesley Matthews scored 26 points and Marcus Camby had a season-high 19 rebounds to help the Portland Trail Blazers snap a six-game losing streak with a 100-91 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
Brandon Roy had 14 points and Nicolas Batum recorded 13 points and 14 rebounds for Portland (9-11).
Eric Gordon had 24 points and Blake Griffin added 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Clippers (4-17).
Los Angeles trailed by 22 points at halftime and staged a solid second-half rally, pulling within 92-89 on Rasual Butler’s 3-pointer with 1:29 remaining.
But Portland closed the game with an 8-2 run to win for the first time since defeating the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 18.
Andre Miller had 13 points, six assists and five steals and Camby scored 12 points for Portland, which won despite shooting just 39.7 percent from the field.
Baron Davis added 14 points and eight assists for the Clippers.
